Door fee vs a card
Paying at the door adds up. At this walk-in rate, 4 visits a year costs €220.
A credit card with lounge access can cover every one of those visits — often for less than the year of door fees, on top of the points and perks you'd get anyway.
See which cards pay offThe Martello is Dublin Airport's premium paid lounge, on the corridor between Terminals 1 and 2 after security: about 5 minutes from T1 and 3 minutes from T2 (through the shops, then the lift or stairs to Level 1). The price gap between booking and turning up is the biggest at Dublin: from €39 per person online against €55 at reception. Book through the Dublin Airport website or app. Stays are limited to 2 hours, and it is open 04:00–21:30 (seasonal changes possible). It is not on Priority Pass or DragonPass. Priority Pass members should use the Liffey Lounge on the same corridor; DragonPass members can use the Liffey or the Phoenix Lounge in Terminal 1. Some airlines use the Martello for their premium passengers, so check with your airline if you are flying business or first. Entry includes a hot breakfast and lunch buffet, barista coffee, two alcoholic drinks per person (cocktails cost extra), quiet business booths, showers, a multi-faith room and panoramic runway views. It is before US Preclearance; once you have cleared it, use the 51st & Green lounge in Terminal 2.
